MCP
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server enables AI assistants to seamlessly interact with the Anytype API, using natural language.
This means you can manage your knowledge base (spaces, objects, types, properties, tags and more) through conversation, powered by models and tools you control. It bridges the gap between structured data and contextual interaction.

MCP Server in Action
The Anytype API is shipped with the desktop app and runs entirely on localhost. It operates fully offline, meaning you can build and use integrations without any cloud dependencies, even when internet is not available (e.g. on a plane).
