Did you know that 1 in 4 people in our world today is Muslim? That's 2 billion Muslim men, women, and children without access to Jesus and the Good News of Christ.
Today, only 3% of harvest laborers go to unreached peoples, who are "a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance.”
This means the global church sends 97% of its people to places that already have access to the Good News.
However, we know the truth in God's word, that Jesus "ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation." (Revelation 5:9) He is worthy of their worship; He purchased it with His own blood!

Yet, God is doing something new!

In the last 25 years, more Muslims have become followers of Jesus than in the entire history of Islam 🙌🏽

God is moving in power, but Muslim Unreached People Groups are still 46% of all unreached people groups today. The majority of the work remains to be done.
We both moved overseas while single, living and working with separate teams among Muslims in North Africa and South Asia.

Now, as a married couple, we believe that God is leading us to move to South Asia!

With God, by his infinite power and grace, we are seeing families, communities, and societies be transformed by Jesus and bear the fruits of the Spirit in their lives.
We are seeing that God truly is committed to restoring the nations to Himself through the body of Christ.
We devote ourselves to working toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission through consistent prayer, disciple-making, and training groups of believers to do the same.

Our Core Commitments & Guiding Principles

Core Commitments

Following the example of the early church in Acts 6:4 and 2 Timothy 2:2, we devote ourselves to:

1. Prayer

We pray and lead consistent, strategic, and spirit-led prayer for Muslim Unreached People Groups with like-minded Brothers and Sisters where we live.
We lead onsite Between the Rivers prayer trips to key cities in South Asia.
We plan, coordinate, and teach workshops on practical and applied prayer for others working with Muslims for a large prayer conference in and for the Muslim world.

2. Disciple-Making

We learn local languages and cultures, and seek to use our gifts, practical skills, and professions to bless communities where we live in practical ways.
We invite Muslims to follow Jesus with love and respect, teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded.

3. Training those who believe to do the same

We train expat and local followers of Jesus across the Muslim world to be disciple-makers in their own languages and cultures where they live. Trainees learn Biblical disciple-making and participate daily in practical obedience in the ministry of sending, as modeled in Luke 10 and Matthew 10.
We offer ongoing coaching online to those who agree to continue living out the fruitful practical of disciple-making movements. We facilitate in-person follow-up coaching every 6 months after initial training in their country seeking to advance the movement.

Guiding Principles

1.
Muslims | Our priority is bringing the Good News to the least-reached Muslim peoples - populations that have no viable, sustainable Gospel witness in their midst.
2.
Movements | Everything we do contributes toward planting healthy, reproducing churches through teams of disciples who make more disciples among Muslims.
3.
Grace-Filled | We seek to be full of grace toward one another within biblical parameters. We honor different convictions about theological emphases and ministry approaches.
4.
Field Governed, Locally Led | Team leaders make decisions for their own context and, collectively, for our organization. Responsibility for ministry effectiveness is taken by those closest to the action.
5.
Teams | We serve together with a common vision for a region and the freedom to adopt and pursue locally appropriate strategies.
6.
Eager for Coaching and Accountability | We are dedicated to lifelong learning, mentoring, and upgrading.

Revelation 5:9

Did you know that when the Bible uses the word "nations", it refers to people groups? A people group is different from what we refer to today a country.
People groups are defined by their distinct language, culture, religion, and geographic location. There are often many people groups in a country. In South Asia, for example, Pakistan is made up of 773 nations, Bangladesh is made up of 277 nations, and India is made up of 2,263 nations.

Testimonies from our work in the field

"I am not a young man" | An Imam in West Africa
A group doing outreach in the village during a 3-week disciple-making training noticed an Imam sitting outside the mosque. He was often there in the afternoon, but they hesitated to speak with him.
Each afternoon, they kept walking. Their small team went door to door through the village, sharing the gospel in homes. After 2 weeks, they told our training team that they had met every household in their village and shared the Good News with them.
I asked if they had truly shared the Good News with every household. "Yes," they said, "we even have started one house church and are discipling them each day…" There was a pause. "Except one," they admitted. "We haven't spoken to the Imam. We are scared."
I encouraged them to pray for the Imam, then to go and see him and see what God does.
The next afternoon, the older Imam was in his usual place - unhurried, as if he was waiting for them. The team approached and asked if they could pray for him. He agreed. After a simple prayer of blessing, the Imam asked about their faith. They told him about Jesus, and he leaned in. He wanted to hear more. By the end of the conversation, the imam said he wanted to follow Jesus.
The group hesitated. "Are you sure?" they asked "Do you know what this means?" They explained the cost. The old man removed his kufi (islamic hat). "Do you see this gray hair? I am not a young man. I know what I am deciding today."
They returned to the debrief that night with joy they could barely contain, marveling at what God had done. Today, a small house church meets at that mosque in West Africa. The surrounding households and villages have heard the gospel.
God is faithful and at work in the hearts of people we may not always expect.

Muslims in South Asia are happy to say that God sent the 3 'previous' Holy Books (The Torah, the Psalms, and The Gospels), but the common teaching is that they have been corrupted, or changed. Having been taught this all their lives by their parents and teachers, they don't want to read them for fear of reading something that will deceive them. This deep suspicion of God's Word can feel like one of the biggest barriers to people discovering God's kingdom and grace. I've had a lot of conversations about it in my time here, but was finally blessed to see some breakthrough in a couple conversations with ladies who seemed open to considering a new perspective on the Word.
After spending the night at a friend's house, early in the morning I had a conversation with her sister in law, S*. She asked me my religion, I told her that I am a follower of Jesus, and that I read the Bible and seek to obey it to the best of my ability.
Genuinely curious, she asked, "You read the Bible? Isn't that book supposed to be corrupted?"
Finding myself strangely prompted by the Holy Spirit, I leaned in and said, "Sister, I thought you were a Muslim!"
"Of course I am!"
I smiled and replied, "Ah yes, of course! I was confused because Muslims believe that God is all-powerful and wise. Who is stronger than God? Is man's word more powerful than His? Would God care so little for His Word that He would let it be changed?"
S* fervently agreed and began recalling many verses and passages from the Quran about how God's Word cannot be changed. She concluded, "I've never thought about this before, we should all be reading the Bible!"
On a trip in the mountains of South Asia, a fellow traveler, M*, and I had a deep discussion about the problem of sin, genuine righteousness, and God's judgement. She saw that doing good works to get into heaven was actually selfishly motivated, and recognized that her good works were like dirty rags before a Holy God. But she longed to be right in God's eyes, and to see her community come out of the deep sin and false righteousness they walked in. At the same time, she ached for justice for the evil that destroyed lives around her.
Full of joy, I told her, "I have found all of the answers to these things in the Injil (Gospels). The Injil is all about how God handles sin and brings us into true righteousness. If you haven't read them, you should! They have the answers to all that you are wondering about."
I gently pointed out that only reading one of the four Holy Books was like only listening to 1/4 of the things God said.
"If I only listened to 1/4 of the things you told me, would you believe that I really cared about and respected you?" I asked.
"No!" she laughed.
